Nurse Gwenny outlines the typical flight interview process:
-HR screening
-Written test
-Personality interview
-And scencarios
Nurse Gwenny explains how to practice verbalizing clinical thinking and the importance of doing so in the scenario / sims setting.
The two take turns putting one another through the paces of a few patient scenarios:
-An inferior STEMI with hypotension
-Carbon Monoxide poisoning
-A peds case on epiglottitis
-Anaphylaxis management
There are several fun moments during this episode and in general a great example of how to approach scenarios when it comes to interviewing for your flight job!
